The idea for BuildRIGHT came to me in late 2024 when I recognized a major challenge in the construction landscape of Dumfries and Galloway. Many people—especially those outside the construction industry—struggle to start or move forward with their dream extensions or building projects. The lack of clear guidance often leads to doubt, ultimately stopping them from turning their vision into reality. BuildRIGHT was created to bridge this gap. Whether you have no experience in construction or just need expert support, I’m here to guide you through the process and help you cross the finish line with confidence. My goal is to make construction projects as stress-free as possible while ensuring you achieve the outcome you envision.

Hi, I’m Jake, the founder of BuildRIGHT. With over half a decade in the construction industry, I’ve worked in both private practice and local authority, managing a wide range of projects. My experience spans from single-house dwellings and commercial shop fit-outs to school projects—handling every moving part of the process, as reflected in my services.
Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in over 8 Figures worth of construction projects. At BuildRIGHT, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise that you can count on to make your project a success.
